Sandra and Johnathan were amazing hosts!! They were helpful and made sure I understood what to do and that I was comfortable. I got to learn so much about their life and having a farm. All the animals are so friendly and I enjoyed caring for them! Their family is so sweet and kind and I enjoyed my stay there so much! Highly recommended volunteering here!

My experience at the community far surpassed my expectations. Jonathan and Sandra were amazing hosts. The accommodation is lovely and provides the most beautiful mountain views and sun rises everyday. The chores can be physically labor intensive at times but as someone who enjoys functional fitness and incidental exercise, I found the work to be rather fulfilling. If you love animals, this is the place to be- from goats, dogs, cats, pigs, chickens, and frequent visits from the troops of howler monkeys, the community has it all. If you have any questions feel free to message me!

I loved my stay at the farm! It was great to experience working on a the community caring for animals. Johnathan and Sandra did their best to make us feel welcome! They were very helpful with information on how to get around on your day off. Be prepared to get dirty and grow stronger. It's hard work, but very rewarding. The boundaries and rules were agreed upon beforehand and respected! They have the cutest dog and cats ever as well.

Sandra and Jonathan are really nice. The farm is great and the animals very cute. Be aware that you have to walk one hour and more when you want to get into town, although you always can ask Sandra and Jonathan when they ll do their grocery shopping and they give you a ride

I had an unforgettable stay, thank you Sandra and Jonathan! From the moment I arrived, they welcomed me with a lot of kindness and quickly made me feel at home. I learned so much during this experience, especially about the animals, life on the farm, and living as close to nature as possible. Taking care of the animals was one of my favourite parts, and I'm really going to miss them all. Sandra and Jonathan are lovely, caring people and are always available if you need anything. I also loved meeting the other volunteers and sharing this experience with them (Noemi, Ansgar and Ana 🫶🏻)
