My time at PLP was incredible. Jojo and the team are amazing, the project is inspiring, the locals are super kind and the nearby wildlife is fascinating. This is definitely a very unique place and I am grateful I got to be a small part of it!

I really enjoyed my stay — everyone was always very kind. Jojo is very open and always looks for ways to show you the local culture. I was lucky enough to attend two weddings and get to know the surrounding area a bit. Daily tasks are usually easy to accomplish, so you have plenty of free time to explore.

Absolutely my favourite sustainability orientated volunteer placement by far. Work life balance was fantastic, Jojo the boss was impossibly welcoming, and Zakkir the chef was a beast behind the hob. HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!!

The project is a wonderful place to volunteer if your interested in learning sustainable practices and local culture and lifestyle. There is a wide range of projects to help with and skills to learn, such as welding and other machinery skills. The food is fantastic and the living space is freshly renovated. If you're interested in learning and helping the environment, this is the place for you!
