Hi, WE have been given a donation towards materials-paint, tiles, wood, to set up a new coral for sick ponies and to improve our volunteer accommodation. We are a small farm looking after 30 critically endangered native ponies, 3 bigger rescue ponies, 4 rescue dogs and 18 rescue cats . My partner got very ill over 2 years ago and heartbreakingly died in March 2025. We have been given a donation of materials to help us improve and update our volunteer accommodation new doors and windows and kitchen cupboards have already been completed . Now we need some help with winter proofing our 2 cabins. Alongside of this to help build a new simple horse coral , helping pay some new water hose, and some Field shelter maintenance before winter sets in. We would deeply appreciate someone with the energy to tackle these very necessary jobs. There will be 2 other volunteers here helping me care for all the animals.
You could do your hours over 4 days and have 3 days off or do 4.5 hours a day and have the afternoon free and 1.5 days off a week. It would be completely up to negotiation how you wanted to do the hours.
