We’re leaving with great memories. We recommend it, especially if you're looking for a secluded spot surrounded by lush nature where you can recharge. Contrary to the description, during peak season the work mainly consists of helping with food prep in the kitchen and serving at the Korean BBQ. Then it's mostly cleaning and a bit of customer service—nothing too complicated. Peter also does his best to help you discover Korean culture and the surrounding area. But he is quite busy, so don't hesitate to also explore the island on your own (a scooter is available, or you can take the bus).

My experience at the camping was fantastic! Me and my friend had a great time working under Peter. I recommend to all people but especially people who are more physically fit as some tasks are outdoors. Peter does a great job of caring for his volunteers and ensuring they are able to both experience South Korea culture, experiences and food whilst at your stay. Writing this feels incredible; my first volunteering was so lucky! I came for 10-15 days through a friend but stayed over 2 months. I met amazing people and connected deeply with Korean culture. Usually, leaving doesn't make me sad, but this time felt truly bittersweet. As for the place: if you take responsibility, managing tasks is very easy. It gets busy, but time flies if you work. Peter detailed everything perfectly on his profile. Knowing this before coming, I can't say it was 'too hard.' I knew what I signed up for and loved it. Thanks for everything, Peter!

It has been a long time since I met a volunteer as truly passionate and dedicated as Osman. Over the past two months, everyone who met him—including my friends and guests—was delighted by his sociability and easygoing charm.
He was incredibly quick to understand tasks and took on a managerial role perfectly, leading other volunteers and mediating communication smoothly.
From snorkeling and camping to ATV tours, yacht trips, and many Korean restaurants together... it was an incredibly!

I had a really great time at Moire the camping. Peter and his friends are so welcoming and friendly, even with a language barrier. I always felt like I fit right in. The work and tasks are mainly preparing food, serving it to guests, cleaning around the campsite, and doing some maintenance/carpentry work, and driving ATVs (my fav part). It is a lot of work though and it can feel pretty tiring at times especially on weekends, so just be prepared for that. I had a lot of fun! Thanks Peter!

My volunteering at the camping was a very eye-opening experience that helped me better understand my skills. I quickly felt at home and at ease with Peter, who taught me a lot in DIY, in addition of my own experience. I would especially recommend this opportunity to people who are physically fit, enjoy nature, are not vegetarian/vegan, can drive, have a good level of English, are autonomous and proactive, and are not focused on intensive travel. Truly one of the best experiences ever. Volunteering here felt like I was helping out a friend rather than working for someone. Peter has a very comforting presence, he was fun and goofy but also serious when needed. He prioritised giving me an authentic Korean experience. We had dinners with his friends (which really helped me learn more Korean) I tried so many new delicious foods, learned so many new things in general and to do with carpentry. The best part is I got to drive ATV bikes up the mountain as a part of the job (incredible view) Geoje is gorgeous. Highly highly recommend!!
