Andrés and his family are warm, generous and genuine people. They provided a safe, peaceful and engaging environment to stay in. Even though the location is a small country town, there was a diverse range of activities to participate in and locals to interact with. I enjoyed learning about local culture (language and food) and learning about the local environment, during free time I explored the surrounding reserve. The place has a fascinating history and Andrés has a lot of knowledge about it. Each day was kept interesting with a fluid schedule. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

My time volunteering with Andrew and his beautiful family was nothing short of amazing. This experience allowed me to fully immerse myself in genuine Argentine daily life, but what made it truly unique was the incredible mix of cultures—I also got to experience Australian and Brazilian vibes all in one place! I truly hope the upcoming museum project and everything else they are working on runs perfectly smoothly. Wishing Andrew, Damaris, and their lovely kids all the happiness and joy in the world.

Spending one week in Ascochinga was such an enriching experience!
Andrés and Dámaris are wonderful hosts, they made me feel so comfortable right from the beginning and were very engaged to provide me a great stay, took me to other villages and places, so I could get to know the culture and the beautiful nature, hiking routes and rivers.
I studied and played with their daughter, helped with easy cleaning tasks and renovated rooms in the museum.
Indeed the history of the place is stunning, so many secrets you can find out and sharing this fascination with the hosts made my stay very unique!
