Volunteering at the host was an amazing experience! I was warmly welcomed and felt part of a project that goes beyond growing plants: it is a space for learning, community, and sustainability. I helped take care of the garden beds, with maintenance, and joined collective activities that connected me not only to nature but also to people. The atmosphere is collaborative, inspiring, and always open to cultural exchange. I highly recommend it to all travelers and volunteers looking for an authentic, transformative, and meaningful experience.

My experience at the host was great; they do an amazing job day after day. In addition, Gustavo, his wife, his daughter, Lena and Pacha, who is another volunteer, were very attentive to me and welcomed me with warmth :). The tasks were well aligned with what we had agreed, and I really enjoyed spending a week with them; although it was a short period, I could take the opportunity to get to know the host, see what they do and help them with marketing.

I loved my experience with the host! So much that I ended up staying two weeks longer than I had planned. The host is an oasis in the middle of the metropolis. It seems to be far, but it's not — with public transport, you reach the city center in about 45 minutes. I really enjoyed the hours I spent working with the host. But what really made this experience was the reception from Gustavo, his wife Samanta and his father Milton who treated me as a member of the family. They are cheerful, cultured, spontaneous and fun people — I feel privileged to have met them.

My experience with the host was incredible, starting with the warm welcome received by this beautiful family, the founder and host Gustavo, his kind wife Samanta, his beautiful daughter the host, and his father, Mr. Milton, a wonderful human being, as well as a musician. In daily life at the host, I received help from César, a fixed volunteer and friend here at the project. With that, I could cultivate the organic vegetables in the beds, remove invasive weeds, water, and learn about composting. For me, it was like therapy in the midst of nature.
