Couldn't be better. I've felt at home since the first moment. The house is an exceptional host: he's always available to help you with whatever you need and makes the experience even more special. The location is excellent, very close to the beach, and there are many activities to do. The house knows the area better than anyone and takes you to enjoy authentic local experiences, without a doubt some of the best you can find in Rio. In short, it has been the best volunteering I could have chosen.

My experience with the house was beautiful. It is super kind, hospitable and very flexible, which made everything flow incredibly. Thanks to him I immersed myself headlong in the culture of Rio: walks, hikes, trekking, little markets, and learning to move around like a local.
The hostel environment was super social and fun, with parties, carnival energy, and incredible people that I carry in my heart. I was also able to practice a bit of Portuguese and learn how a hostel works from the inside. It was a complete experience, full of learning and good vibes.

The volunteering is excellent since the house helps you delve into local life and know the deepest parts of Rio. At Chris's apartment, it's all love! Not only as host of guests but also as our host. All with warmth and a lot of respect. The tasks are super simple and everything can be combined. The space is beautiful and it's close to everything! From the beach, from transport options, and markets open 24 hours. It is really the experience in Ipanema. Not to mention the kitties that make the experience even more beautiful 🥰 Thanks to the house for the opportunity, for the respect, for the conversations and walks. It was really a privilege to share this time with you and the kids ❤️
