The Experience

We need a little bit of help taking care of our vines and olive trees, using ancestral, organic techniques. Work could include pruning trees, tilling the soil, but also masonry tasks such as restoring old stone walls. And maintaining fences for examples. And of course, during harvest time and fruit-picking.

We had an absolutely wonderful two weeks with Alex, his wife Sophie and their adorable little daughter Lulu - a warm, welcoming and genuinely lovely family who made us feel at home from day one.

The work was far from demanding - it felt more like a pleasant and interesting experience. Alex shared so much knowledge about local agriculture, winemaking and olive oil production, which made every day genuinely enriching.

The living conditions were excellent: a separate apartment, spacious, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with modern appliances. Everything we could have needed was there.

It was such a wonderful time. Alex & Sophie are such a lovely with an adorable baby. We fall in love with this family. They shared with us how to care for grape and olive trees, shared some knowledge about solar panels and other equipment that could improve productivity. There was a chance for us to discover Aix-en-Provence, Marseille, and other Mediterranean cities in the region. We highly recommend Alex & Sophie. Kind and warm hugs to them ☺️☺️

My husband and I had the honor of helping out this wonderful, kind family! If you're looking to connect with nature in a more rural part of France, this is the place for you! Their extremely beautiful property is about a 30 minute drive from the southern coast of France. They took us to their favorite spots and showed us around! They also stalked our fridge with delicious food, gave us lunch and dinner most days, and showed us how to use their electric bikes so we could go explore the area for ourselves! The work load was very reasonable and an amazing way to connect with nature!
