The tasks are easy to do and the space is so cozy and inspiring that I did everything with a lot of care to keep maintaining the cozy energy! I could practice my English and Spanish a lot and make many friendships with people from all over the world. The hostel is really nice and cozy, the hours are respected and the tasks are very easygoing. It's close to the beachfront promenade, you can run in the morning, watch the sunrise and enjoy the beach. I highly recommend volunteering.

My volunteer period with tozen was simply incredible! I recommend it to everyone who is thinking about coming to Ubatuba. Carol welcomes volunteers very well. Shifts are scheduled 1 or 2 days in advance; it's not a weekly rotation, she creates them according to need and also according to her own schedule.

Volunteering at the hostel was great, I felt at home quickly... I got to know beautiful places, wonderful people and I took surfing lessons for the first time. The hostel is beautiful, spacious, airy, it has good communal spaces, a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable rooms, besides being close to the beach. Carol is super nice and lets volunteers feel at ease to execute the tasks with autonomy. The calm environment, the group’s vibe and the cat Gal will be missed 🥹💙

Even though one always has expectations about what an experience might be like, I can assure you that my stay at the hostel exceeded all the ones I had! A hostel with beautiful decor, spacious common areas and facilities in great condition. The tasks to be performed were very easy to carry out; they revolved around cleaning the spaces, help with the check-ins/outs of the guests. But what I value most is the beautiful human group with whom I shared <3 both Dona Carol and the group of volunteers (ro, mandi, carol, lu) I felt at home, thank you <3

My volunteering in social media at the hostel was amazing! Carol is wonderful, she always gave great tips, took us to visit beaches and valued my work a lot, respecting all the agreements, and gave creative freedom and support for ideas. The connections with volunteers and Brazilian and other-country guests were especially special, in addition to a truly 'the hostel' vibe, I felt very comfortable and calm. Moments like pizza, a movie, games, and barbecue made everything even better. And the location, near the beach, with common spaces and lots of greenery, is perfect! I am grateful✨

My volunteering at the the hostel was amazing! The hostel is very good, spacious, airy, with great common spaces! It is a block from the Pereque-açu beach which is perfect for beginners in surfing. The host Carol is nice, super calm and flexible and the work is fair (cleaning of 2 rooms and bathrooms, kitchen and common areas + reception). We also have a bike to share and basic groceries. Here I was very happy and I could spend even more time in the beautiful Ubachuva. Grateful to everyone and especially Rocio, Tomi and Mandi for making my days better!!! 🏄🏽♀️❤️🌞🌊☔️

Communication was always clear and she trusted me to carry out important activities, which made me feel valued and part of the space.
