Recently, I had the opportunity to volunteer at the eco lodge, in Campos do Jordão. The place is stunning, with cozy cabins among the Araucaria trees and a beautiful waterfall nearby. The connection with nature is incredible, and the tasks were simple, facilitated by Elson's guidance, who was always available to help. I am grateful to Elson and Rosa for the opportunity to experience this transformative experience, which provided me with learning and unforgettable moments. I will definitely be back!

One more time back to the eco lodge, this time I could apply the essential digital resources for the flamping format. I developed three welcome guides for guests. https://o eco lodge-o eco lodge-guia-aframe.vercel.app/ developed the institutional site of the eco lodge https://www.glampingamanita.com.br/ I assembled the AI management system. 4 agents: Reservations, Operational, Administration and social networks. Digital strategy + visual identity.

The volunteering was very smooth. I ended up focusing more on helping in the kitchen and making corn, coconut, and carrot cakes and guava cookies for the guests. And I also tried making creations with pine nuts and shiitake that are abundant there at the lodge. I made pasta with shiitake white sauce, zucchini and shiitake focaccia, grilled pine nuts with oregano, salt and olive oil, I made a pine nut and shiitake paste, Calabresa focaccia. The place is very beautiful and I picked up a lot of pine nuts and it was really nice to see the shiitake greenhouse. I liked that I could help more in the kitchen and I hope to have helped in these few days.

I would like to thank Elson for the reception. I had an amazing experience, we were really connected with nature. the eco lodge is about 30 minutes from the city. The tasks are given the day before and the schedule is very flexible, as long as you complete all the tasks requested. I liked it and recommend the experience, I had a problem with my cellphone and had to leave a little before the date agreed, but I talked and explained my situation with ample advance notice. I recommend for people who know how to enjoy and appreciate nature without needing company.

Despite the beauty of the place, my experience was extremely negative. The property is very isolated, leaving the volunteers completely dependent on the staff for any transportation. After needing to go to town for health reasons, I took the opportunity to buy items to replenish products used at the glamping site itself, which ended up causing a misunderstanding related to transportation. With less than a week to go, my volunteering was terminated, despite my work having been rated positively until then. I was left without support to reorganize myself, and I had large unexpected expenses.

Regarding information about the position, during the application process and during the experience we always make clear the distance from the city and the lack of public transport, and that any travel outside what was agreed is the volunteer's responsibility. This is the first time someone has complained about this. The volunteering was terminated for disrespecting this and other rules of coexistence and conduct.
