The Experience

We are a super friendly hostel providing accommodation for walkers, climbers, backpackers from around the world. We mostly need help with Cleaning and Laundry, but there may be general maintenance to do to, especially when it's quieter. We provide a light breakfast, free wi-fi and at least one day off per week. We're close to the canal, sea and hill and shops are easily accessible. Come join our team awhile.

I spent a around a month in the hostel, we had to close due to COVID-19 but my time there was amazing! The hostel is really cozy and well equipped and the nature there is wonderful
Daniel and Jo were always really nice and helpful and very respectful on the work done by all the volunteers :)

It was really cool and relaxing staying here. The tasks are quite simple and the working hours give you a chance to explore around. The hostel is a great place to meet people :) thank you

From day one, I felt completely welcome. Jo, Daniel, and Michael (not to mention my two fellow volunteers: Lu and Charlie) are amazing <3! They're kind and understanding, great at explaining your tasks and helping you out. The hostel itself is super cozy and feels very homey, and the tasks are not difficult at all (mind you, they require hard work as anything but it's nothing brutal xD). Banavie is lovely, very green, nice and peaceful, with a nice pub nearby and a Co-Op to get some stuff to cook. All in all, a wonderful experience I'd do over and over again :D Thanks so much!

I lived an unforgettable experience in "Chase The Wild Goose". The hosts are really nice people who make you feel like at home. They are generous, close, funny and help you in whatever you need. Besides, the hostel, is cosy, comfortable and quiet.
In relation with the tasks, are easy: rooms, bathrooms or kitchen and lounge, and every day, folding sheets.
Fort William is a gorgeous and peaceful place and you can visit near it Glencoe, Steall Waterfall, Glenfinann, Ben Nevis or Loch Ness.
All my love to Jo, Daniel and Michael and my dear roommates Giovana, Sam and Fernando, I'll miss you!:)
