I'm very grateful for this opportunity. Ulla's Farm is a wonderful place to live peacefully, connect with the horsies, doggies, and kitties, learn German, and gain experience in animal care. Farm work can be challenging, but working with the horses is incredibly rewarding. Ulla is a great teacher and cook who always respected our vegan dietary needs. I was lucky to witness Dory, a pregnant mare, give birth to her foal, Chico Coqueto. This is an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Ulla, Nadine, and Sasha. You'll always be in my heart.

It has been a lovely experience. I have learned so much about horses and farm work. The horses here are so sweet, friendly and fun. We had options for breakfast, a delicious fresh and sorted salad for lunch and a warm and yummy dinner everyday. The schedule is somewhat flexible and depends on what happens on the farm and what you need, this is very good. The work is physical and if you are fast and efficient it is not a problem to finish on time.
It is a very good farm life experience, Ula was kind and welcoming, she takes good care of everyone in the farm.
I am very grateful and happy 🥰

At first, the working hours were not respected. After speaking to Ulla, they still weren't.
I tried running around as fast as possible and the work was still at least half an hour more every day; I asked a couple how many days did they work fairly in one month: "one".
I left after two weeks.
If you apply, take into account 28-30h/week of heavy work.
Ulla is a nice and welcoming person, but she literally only knows my name and my nationality. Not a personal question, not a shared life story, no intercultural exchange. It was more like being a simple worker there.Great location and cute horses:)

The host is very welcoming and accomadating, always taking care of you especially with the meals. The location is great if you would like to be around horses and dogs. Similarly, the work is based around horse and farm stuff, so can be tough but again depends what you like. The hours are flexible and fair most of the time. The living accomadations are also great. Overall would definitely recommend if this is the kind of experience you're looking for.
