Overall I had an decent experience at the hostel. Chío and Liz the receptionist were always in a good mood when I saw them. Most communication with the host was done via WhatsApp right before the shift started. There was no daily cleaning schedule except the bathrooms and kitchen so most things that needed to be cleaned needed to be deep cleaned. There were very few guests during my time there. Breakfast was some bread, a boiled egg and a banana. I would say this experience would vary greatly depending on time of year and number of volunteers. Nice location if you are in Arequipa.

The hostel is an amazing place! Since the first moment Chío and Liz made us feel at home, they welcomed us with a lot of affection, sharing breakfasts and dinners, conversations, music... The tasks are very simple; cleaning, preparing rooms, help with breakfasts and some small things. The schedules are clear and flexible and they leave you time to get to know the city. Also the hostel is very nice and is located in a beautiful, quiet area near the center. Without a doubt, it has been one of the best volunteering experiences we have lived. Thank you, girls!

Our experience at the hostel was very complete and full of good moments. Chio and Liz are wonderful people, incredibly close, with whom we really enjoyed living and sharing. The atmosphere is warm and cheerful, the hostel is very beautiful and the rooms comfortable. The tasks are easy and well organized, and thanks to the schedules we were able to enjoy our free time a lot. The location is perfect for exploring Arequipa. We left with lovely memories, laughter, and moments shared with travelers and locals. We are very grateful!

The hostel is great, with beautiful common and outdoor spaces and a wonderful team! Chio is a real ray of sunshine, cheerful and energetic, it's a pleasure to work with her. Liz is also super kind, gentle and patient! We share meals together; Chio taught me how to make ceviche and wonderful pancakes. The tasks are very well explained at the start of the stay, everything is very clear, and the workload is really reasonable, in line with what is indicated (perhaps a little less depending on the crowd). I really recommend it, it was wonderful ❤️ you'll miss me 🫶

Really a very pleasant experience. Thanks to Roscio the owner and Liz the receptionist I could get to know the city and feel like a true Arequipeño. I received a lot of affection and support and in exchange I was able to create content for social media in addition to helping with the hostel's guests. Beautiful place and lovely people ❤️
