My experience at Raízes Hostel was wonderful! It's a place full of good energy, where I felt at home from the very first day.
The whole team welcomed me very well and knew how to handle the volunteers in an organized and welcoming way. The schedules are respected and the tasks are calm, which makes the experience very light.
Barra Grande is a small town that's quite quiet during the week, but gains a special energy on weekends.

It was a wonderful experience! The treatment with the volunteers is excellent and they really make us feel part of the hostel's identity, which I found incredible. The conditions were totally adequate, the rooms are very comfortable and the environment is great to enjoy. Additionally, Barra Grande is a charming village. I am very grateful for everything and I highly recommend the experience!

How lovely and special was my time at Raízes! The hostel is very cute, cozy, and right by the beach. The volunteering was more focused on greeting guests and organizing the spaces. Everything was very calm, and I had plenty of time to enjoy the amazing Barra Grande. Adri is a sweetheart, flexible, and made me feel totally at ease. Rosa also welcomed me very well. And I had a lot of fun with Granola's mischiefs. It's a pity I didn't meet Tati in person :( I had great outings with wonderful guests who became friends. I chose BG to spend my birthday and it was awesome! Gratitude for the warm welcome and see you soon ❤

I was in the off-season and the hostel was pure peace and tranquility!
The tasks are very calm and the breakfast is delicious. The hostesses (Tati and Adri) are very flexible and kind. In addition to Rosa who is very dear and Granola who is adorable.
Moreover, the hostel has great facilities and is close to the beach!!!
