I had a truly positive experience here. The host was welcoming, respectful, and always open to communication. The tasks were clear, fair, and well organized, which made everything smooth and enjoyable. I felt trusted, appreciated, and part of the environment rather than just a volunteer.
The place has a peaceful atmosphere and a genuine community spirit. I learned new things, met interesting people, and created meaningful memories.
I would definitely recommend this experience to other travelers looking for connection, growth, and a balanced exchange. 🌿✨

Volunteering at the hostel was an amazing experience! The place has a super relaxed and welcoming vibe, surrounded by nature and good energy. I felt at home from the first day. the team is kind, open-minded, and always ready to share stories, laughs and more The tasks were fair and well-organized, and I had plenty of free time to explore the area, enjoy the beach, and connect with other travelers. It's the kind of place that attracts beautiful souls and makes you feel part of a community. If you're looking for a peaceful, the hostel-friendly, and inspiring place to volunteer i recommend ✨💛💚

Volunteering at the hostel was perhaps the best possible choice for a first volunteering that anyone would wish to have - the staff at the hostel are always very open and receptive to dialogue. They were very patient in explaining everything to me, helping me improve. The environment is peaceful and welcoming.

My experience at Raízes Hostel was wonderful! It's a place full of good energy, where I felt at home from the very first day.

The whole team welcomed me very well and knew how to handle the volunteers in an organized and welcoming way. The schedules are respected and the tasks are calm, which makes the experience very light.

Barra Grande is a small town that's quite quiet during the week, but gains a special energy on weekends.

I would definitely like to come back. I highly recommend this experience!
