It was a wonderful experience; I spent the whole of August volunteering at the AirPort Airbnb accommodation and it went really well. The work is very simple and straightforward because everything is so clean and tidy; you almost always end up working fewer hours than planned. The facilities for volunteers are very comfortable. The only downside is that it's located in a very small village, far from the town centre and the beaches, and public transport isn't very reliable. Franco, who's in charge, is very friendly and flexible. Overall, the experience was excellent.

I had a really wonderful experience with this host in Malta. The location is excellent, and there is a great social environment, making it a very fun place to stay. The accommodation is exceptionally clean and well-kept. What I appreciated most was how systematic and organized everything was compared to many other places. You know exactly what you will be doing and when, and the workload is relatively light. I highly recommend volunteering here!

My experience was positive. Schedules and tasks were respected, and the host took us to discover beautiful places and beaches in Malta. It was a great opportunity to improve my English and communication skills.
A recommendation for future volunteers: ask about the location before you arrive. If you are assigned to Maqqba, get the Tallinja bus card two weeks before arriving, as it is far from the main areas and you will need public transport daily.
In short, it was a valuable experience for learning English, meeting people, and enjoying Malta.

This was my first volunteer experience, and honestly, it was a great one. I had a lot of fun, learned many new skills, and the schedule was amazing since I only worked from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. That meant I had the rest of the day free to explore and discover Malta.
My teammates were from Argentina, Colombia, and Brazil, so we spoke Spanish most of the time. The little English I used was mainly with the guests and the host, who was very patient with those of us who don't have an advanced level of English. That made it really easy to communicate with him.

I'm very happy with this volunteering experience in Malta. The atmosphere at the hostel was friendly and welcoming, and I met many wonderful people from different countries. The host was always reachable and helpful whenever needed. The working hours were fair, so there was plenty of time to explore the island and enjoy Malta.
