It was my first volunteering experience, and I loved it!
The host was always available. The working hours were respected, and if something unexpected came up, we could always reach an agreement.
The team were all great people to work with. I also had the chance to practise my English, even though my vocabulary is still very limited.
The tasks require a good sense of responsibility, but everything is made very easy.
I highly recommend it!

This is a place where you can improve your speaker English with the helpers and learn about the cleanliness. \nAlways we have a lot things to do but in the same time you can go to the beach to relax and interact with the native or tourists people.

I would not recommend this volunteering experience. It often felt much more like being an employee than a volunteer. Volunteers are given excessive responsibilities and extra tasks, often without training or previous knowledge, and are expected to figure things out themselves. If you cannot do something or point out a problem, you may be told to leave. I was also blamed for problems with the company phone, despite testing and recording the issue. The constant pressure, threats of being asked to leave and lack of respect for personal time made the experience very stressful.

It was my first experience as a volunteer, the photos of the accommodation did not match what I found, the accommodation had little space for volunteers, a room for 4 people, and the conditions were not the best; however, the tasks were not too demanding and we had money set aside for meals.

My experience in Mqabba was excellent, I had the opportunity to experience the town's festivals and learn about Maltese culture, I also lived this experience with wonderful people and I especially value the communication with the Host, who although I did not have the pleasure of meeting him personally was always open to receiving suggestions and keeping contact at a distance.
The tasks are simple and once you get going everything is done quite quickly.
I would choose him again :)
