My place is surrounded by the mountain ,we have so many different hiking trails from 2 hrs until 3 days hiking in the nature.

I am Mahmood, your host, born and raised in Al Hamra (Oman). In January 2022 I opened 228 Hostel, because I love to meet people from other countries and to learn and talk about other countries. As a host I love to make you feel at home and give the best service, so you will have a good time at Hostel and make the best holiday memories. I live in the hostel as well, you can ask me all kind of things about Oman, about activities to do around Al Hamra, your next plans, culture, traditions, food, Muslim religion or anything you are interested in. 1. Is need visa to enter Oman?
For all nationality you will get 14 days free tourism visa on arrival at the airport or at the border of Oman,
But For 1 month visa you must apply E-visa online before coming to Oman from the website ( https://evisa.rop.gov.om ) its cost 20 OMR - 52 USD,usually it take less than 48hrs for approval, after that you can download the visa in PDF format or printed.

2.Can I extend the 14 days free tourism visa while I am in Oman ?
No you can't ,you must do Exit from Oman via the border then you come back,then you can get 14 days free visa again or you can apply 1 month visa from the border office that will approved immediately, the cost is 20 OMR - 52 USD .

3.Can I extend the E-visa while I am in Oman?
Yes you can Extend the E-visa for 2 times more each time 1 month period,it will be online from the website ( https://evisa.rop.gov.om ) its cost 20 OMR - 52 USD each month, the visa it will be approved immediately .

4.How I can reach to your hostel ?
There is 2 bus per day coming from Muscat airport to the bus stop Alhamra turn off 1 , Google map ( https://maps.app.goo.gl/rgCgfxK2N674dgws5 ) then from there i will take you by my car, Bus no 53 and 54, they have visa machine in the bus + USB charger and free Wi-Fi,you will found bus time table and more details in there website ( https://mwasalat.om/home ) or you can download the application from the website, the bus cost is 3 OMR - 7.8 USD from muscat Airport to the Alhamra turn off 1.
