Serving with us at Abato is an exciting experience as you get to join a real family of passionate people making a difference in communities. We consider ourselves a family irrespective of color , race or religion
Volunteers are treated as family. You should not expect any special treatment apart from that accorded to a visitor for the first few days. We believe that the best way is to treat everyone equally.

It’s more than Amazing experience Mr. Moses and his wife are true leaders,kind and humble.I’m in love with Mpigi this Small heaven , where you find peace ,respect and simplicity . Kids are so kind , if you love the nature and simple life this is right place to visit,you get to test local food and tour around learn about the kingdom and more ,just feel free and be flexible.I spend great time with Dr,Eria he is so smart,I learned A lot from him and Celine .
I will definitely visit this place again.Finally to all Abato foundation members keep fitting for the right.

Abato foundation es una experiencia perfecta para viajar por primera vez a África, Mpigi es un sitio seguro y toda la comunidad de Abato Foundation cuida de que estés bien.
El director de la asociación nos contó sus necesidades. en este caso en el programa de empoderamiento de la mujer y me dejó libremente crear y llevar a cabo el programa, ya que estoy formada para ello, estoy muy agradecida de la experiencia, fue un trabajo intenso pero dio sus frutos.
Gracias a su mujer Kirabo conseguimos un safari a la mitad del precio de otras agencias, además nos llevaron de excursión y a comer

My stay at Abato Foundation was fantastic. I assisted them with Social Media and taught computer skills. Every day I could join activities like playing football with the youth. There was also enough time to explore the surroundings and meet a lot of locals in Mpigi Town. A great place to learn, teach and explore Uganda.

Wow! This is a place where you know you'll come back. Can't put into words how nice everybody treated me and how nice people are in this community. It's amazing what they are doing here and you'll want to be part of it long after you left. Moses is an inspiration and a great human being, he has the vision of a true leader and he's a role model for everybody there. Thank you for letting me be part of your family! 🤗
