Our hostel is in the center of Paris, very closed to Champs-Elysées, to the Seine river and to the Eiffel tower.
You will have an occasion to live in and to discovery this city in a different way. Sharing the common life with a christian community, this may be also an opportunity to experience a new lifestyle.
We may have different function (brothers, employees, volunteers...) but we try to create together a family's atmosphere. Our principle is very simple : kindness and professionalism.

J'ai eu une expérience enrichissante à Adveniat. Les membres de la communauté sont divers, gentils, sympas, coopératifs et on a partagé de bons moments autour des déjeuners et des dîners (qui sont toujours abondants). Le personnel de l'auberge est aussi très sympas.
Le travail peut être un peu fatigant, surtout pour ceux qui sont peu habitués, mais il y a beaucoup de temps pour se reposer et explorer Paris (l'emplacement de l'auberge est parfait pour cela). Si vous parlez au moun un peu le français, cela peut faciliter l'expérience.

It is an incredible experience, the people are very friendly and make you feel at home. this work is OK, The key is to always give your best to receive the same from others (customers) the place is more than perfect, the location is key to living an experience like that of "Emily in Paris"
They were really very patient with me, because my French was often not the best, but they always corrected me and taught me in the best way.

Maravillosa experiencia!! Las tareas son muy sencillas, todos son súper pacientes para explicarte cómo hay que hacer las cosas. Al terminar tu turno te queda bastante tiempo para recorrer París sobretodo porque todo está súper cerca del hostal. Además los miembros de la comunidad son una joya, me hicieron sentir bienvenida y me trataron siempre con mucho respeto. Se come deliciosooo, cocinan platillos súper variados, completos y ricos. Recomiendo mucho tener buen nivel de francés, de inglés y tener habilidades de adaptación y autonomía para vivir una experiencia cómoda. Gracias Adveniat!!!

Fue una experiencia completamente mágica y especial para mi vida. desde el primer momento hasta el ultimo tanto Jean-Vàlere como Maud y todos los integrantes de Adveniat me hicieron sentir verdaderamente como en mi casa. Se respeto todo, los días y horas de voluntariado, las comidas deliciosas de todos los dias, la comodidad y el confort de la habitacion donde dormí y la calidez del ambiente hicieron que mi estadia en Paris supere todas mis expectativas. Estare infinitamente agradecida a toda la comunidad de Adveniat, por su generosidad, humanidad y respeto hacia mi en mi paso por Paris.

This experience was all and more than I hoped for! I would recommend it to anyone who wants to explore Paris, experience life with the Assumptionist Community or who wants to learn French! Above all the people are amazing, kind, and helpful, I made friends for life! The work is reasonable and not demanding, leaving more than enough time to discover the city, its impressive historical places, and its quaint little streets with charming cafes. The hostel is located in the heart of Paris, in the beautiful and chic 8th arrondissement with the Eiffel Tower just a leisurely walk away.
