The Experience

To discovery Paris in a different way in a christian hostel which is situated in the center of Paris. Volunteers need to be independent-minded, willing to live within a community and share its values. We want their stay with us to be a rich experience that would bring them human knowledge, self-confidence, and self-sufficiency.

My experience at the hostel couldn't have been better! From the very first day I was warmly welcomed and I was very touched by the shared meal with the community and our conversations! The work is definitely doable and very fair compared to what you get in return. Even though we had a relatively large number of technical problems, we were always able to find solutions that satisfied customers. The room is cozy and you have everything you need (even your own kitchen with fridge). Overall, I am extremely grateful to have met all of these special people and to have seen so much of Paris!

My experience at the hostel was more than great ! Right when I arrived I felt welcomed and at home. There central location in the city of love was amazing and the work was extremely fair for what I got in return. I met soo many amazing people, all the students are great and the brothers of the community were always willing to answer all my questions, help me out or just make jokes with me. I had a wonderful time also with my new friend, Greta, who was the other volunteer. All in all can I only recommend every minor to medium inconvenience was blown away from joy, amazing people and the city itse

It was my first volunteering and I had an amazing experience, I felt at home in the hostel! The volunteer's room has everything you need (mini kitchen, bathroom and comfortable beds). The location is perfect! It's safe even at night and close to many tourist attractions. They welcomed me very well, very kind, respectful, and helpful for everything I needed. The cultural exchange with people from community was really nice and important for me. I will always remember the moments shared and I will never forget especially the very kind “Bonjour” from father Jean Valere ❤️

What an enjoyable experience have I had at the hostel! The studio for volunteers is 100% comfortable - mini kitchen and bathroom included. It provides all the privacy you need. People were kind and helpful even after I broke my foot and couldn't do all the tasks I was supposed to - we found new things I could be helpful with together. Working hours are chill. The location is safe and from a walking distance to many touristic places. If you are vegetarian, though, you might have to be flexible with eating vegetables that have been cooked with meat, for example, or cook your own food.

The hostel was a treasure, which I'm so happy to have found, the people are amazing, caring and always respectful. I stayed for two months, and I didn't only make friends but I've made a family which I'll always remember, and of course I'll be back one day to see everyone again. I felt welcome from the beginning, and they always made me feel comfortable. I will never forget the long talks, the walks, and laughs. I will never forget these experience, I go back home with a bigger heart, full of new people I will never forget. The only thing I have to say is thank you for everything!
