Aldea Natalia

Aldea Natalia is a family project that began in 2017, born from the idea of finding a point of coexistence and family development, but also with the vision of creating a comfortable place to rest, disconnect from the daily routine, and have space that would allow us to spend a few days in nature.
We are located on the Mexican Pacific coast, in Huatulco, Oaxaca. We have three eco-cabins built with superadobe, space for camping, and a swimming pool. We strive to offset our environmental footprint by using eco-technologies such as solar panels to generate energy that becomes electricity, a biodigester for treating greywater, we compost our organic waste and we take care to separate inorganic waste.
We are also a space for workshops, courses and retreats, where small groups of people can enjoy this little paradise.
It's important to mention that we have an internet area, the road to reach Aldea Natalia is a dirt road and the nearest store is a 20-minute walk away.
The magic of Aldea Natalia is precisely that, being an isolated space that allows you to reconnect with calm, and we want more people to know about our project and contribute to its growth.

As a volunteer you can enjoy the facilities of Aldea Natalia (pool, access to the kitchen to prepare your meals), while you contribute to maintenance and cleaning tasks around the place; you will have a shared space with another volunteer, but with your own bed.
The activities to be carried out are:
*Limpieza de cabañas
*Limpieza de pasillos
*Limpieza de alberca
*Limpieza de playa
*Limpieza del área de perritos
*Poda de pasto
*Siembra y riego de plantas
*Pintura de paredes
*Reparaciones
*Siembra
*Cuidado de huerto

It also happened to me that, for that reason, I decided to return for a second time to undertake another volunteering experience; the place is magical, the experience is enriching, and the people I met on each visit are something I will always remember

The lodging has provided me with invaluable memories, friendships, landscapes, and flavors.
From the moment I applied to the volunteer program, the activities to be carried out were explained to me clearly, and these, along with the dynamics of how the space operates, are addressed upon arrival. The calendar of activities to be developed was always provided to me, and when, due to the needs of the lodging, I was asked to contribute with something diverse, I was informed in a timely manner.

The accommodation is an incredible space that makes you stay longer than planned or even go and come back. It provides harmony, tranquility, stillness; if you want to collaborate through what this natural space offers you, come!!!
Always being respectful of the place's dynamics.

The experience at the eco lodge was incredible, my partner and I worked on content production, videos and photos, the schedules were flexible, so we organized ourselves in the best way to film and edit daily videos. The food is excellent, healthy and local, the lodging is comfortable, the beach is practically private and there are other nearby ones to know, all the other volunteers and staff are kind and lovely. And Paulina is kind and well organized! We loved being part of this beautiful project and hope to return one day! I recommend it to everyone, hugs ❤️🇧🇷🇲🇽

Here's the late review for Barbie and Roger. They are two amazing beings, incredibly creative and dynamic, who understood very quickly the idea I had in mind to generate content for our social networks. They are also very easygoing, kind, and helpful, and they always helped with the house cleaning duties when it was their turn. Thank you very much, guys, for your magic! May you keep rolling! Hugs =)

My experience at the lodging was deeply enriching. It is a place full of nature, calm, and connection, perfect for disconnecting from the noise and reconnecting with oneself. I am very grateful to Pau and Ale for their patience, their openness, and for sharing so much knowledge with me in such a short time. I take away valuable lessons, beautiful moments, and a heart full of gratitude. Undoubtedly, it is a very special space for those who wish to grow, live together, and contribute with love 🌿

Mitzy’s help was invaluable; she was always very willing to collaborate with us (even overtime). She adapted very quickly to the pace of the Village and the kitchen. Mitzy is creative, and she cooks incredibly well. Thank you very, very much, Mitzy, for choosing us, coming, staying, and helping us so much!
