AMÓ – Lugar de Bem Viver
AMÓ – Lugar de Bem Viver is a cultural space of art and sustainability, located between the banks of the Maquiné River and Serra Geral Biological Reserve. The space was created by photographer Mirella Rabaioli, the actor and event producer Pascal Berten and his daughters Lena and Manu.
We hope that volunteering at AMÓ will be a mutual learning experience and an exchange of experiences. In addition to seeing concrete results of the work, of course, such as a built clay wall, baskets of harvested fruit, a pile of chopped firewood, a cleared path, or a cultural event held.
AMÓ – Lugar de Bem Viver operates in different areas of work: art and culture, agroecology and sustainability, environmental education and ecotourism, networks of solidarity economy and rural development.
Currently we are 3 adults who work continuously at AMÓ: Mirella, Pascal and Bianca. The work is planned and carried out collectively, week by week. In our daily organization, one of the adults in the house is responsible for the care of the children and for feeding the collective, while the others carry out the work. Come join this team of work.
As we organize cultural events and offer ecotourism experiences, we have experience welcoming people. We create a respectful and caring environment, to be attentive to the needs and demands of the volunteer.
