Bassari Ecotourism Project
Participants have the opportunity to take part in agricultural activities, thereby contributing to the community's self-sufficiency. At the same time, ecological projects are implemented to raise awareness and act against pollution, particularly with regard to waste management and plastic recycling.
The program also includes sustainable construction initiatives that develop traditional and environmentally respectful ways of life. Volunteers can also contribute to the village school, help the children, and participate in educational activities.

My time in Ibel and the Samba project and its family has been very enriching. I have immersed myself in the real day-to-day life of Pays Basari. I have helped with the tasks of harvesting okra, with cooking, washing clothes in the river with the women of the family, baking bread in a traditional oven... Samba and his brothers have been attentive to make me feel at home and have taken me to discover places of interest. I recommend it to any traveler who wants to fully immerse themselves in rural Africa.

Nuestra estancia con Samba y su familia en Ibel fue una experiencia profunda y auténtica. Nos acogieron con cariño, compartiendo su cultura y un entorno natural precioso. La comida casera fue excelente, siempre variada y deliciosa. Desarrollamos ideas para mejorar la visibilidad del proyecto y enriquecer futuras experiencias de voluntariado. Javier's stay at my place was very rich in color I learned his culture and tradition in European cuisine, to exchange ideas for the success of our association's project and to make plans for a vegetable nursery to repair the garden fence it was really available flexible, courageous, understanding and quickly adopted community life!!! Convivir con la familia de Samba en Ibel ha sido una experiencia auténtica y transformadora. La cultura peul es profundamente familiar, respetuosa y generosa: todo se comparte, y los niños te reciben con los brazos abiertos. Cada día ofrece aprendizajes y la oportunidad de acercarse la comunidad su lengua y tradiciones. No es una experiencia adaptada la comunidad comodidades occidentales, pero sí profundamente humana, genuina y enriquecedora.
