Bigfoot Hostel

Our location is magnificent. We are in the very center of Leon. We are a few minutes away walking from the Cathedral of Leon and Parque Central. In addition other important spots of the city such as Museo De La Revolucion and Iglesia El Calvario are also in reachable walking distance.

We are more than a hostel, it is a complete backpacking experience. Local and traveling volunteer staff are thoroughly trained and dedicated to making this your home away from home, while visiting beautiful and colonial city of Leon, Nicaragua.

Fun, crazy, amazing!! I loved being part of the bigfoot family & it truly was an unforgettable experience. I still can’t believe it: the vibesss, great parties, vulcanoboarding and all the sweet people I met there - just a 10/10 recommendation!!

Ame mi estancia en Bigfoot. Es un muy buen lugar para realizar un intercambio, mi tiempo en León fue increíble y divertido. Es un party hostel, por lo que nunca estarás aburrido. Gracias a la familia Bigfoot por dejarme ser parte 🧡

What a time the one in Bigfoot!!! I loved that every shift is different and not only behind the bar like other hostels. Volcano boarding, beach cleanings and maaany many bar crawl parties were simply TOO GOOD.
Definitely come here if you’re into doing the best of activities.

Bigfoot really did feel like a second family. Nunu who is in charge of the volunteers really cares about your wellbeing in every aspect. I had a ton of fun. The only challenge was charging up my social battery fast enough
