Buyungo Campsite Farm

If youโ€™re looking for a meaningful way to connect with nature, culture, and community โ€” this is it! ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ

Volunteering here means living the real Ugandan countryside lifestyle while helping on a small organic farm. You'll care for animals, support sustainable gardening, and โ€” if you wish โ€” take part in community health outreach projects ๐Ÿ’›

Itโ€™s perfect for travelers who want to give back, learn something new, and experience deep human connection in a peaceful lakeside setting ๐ŸŒ…

Our project is family-run and based on love, respect, and collaboration ๐Ÿค

Youโ€™ll be welcomed like one of us โ€” sharing meals, stories, and laughs with locals and children from the area. We work side by side, support each other, and encourage volunteers to feel free, safe, and at home.

Expect a warm, supportive space where youโ€™re encouraged to contribute, learn, and grow โ€” not just as a helper, but as part of a real community โค๏ธ

I enjoyed getting to help on the farm. Liliana and the kids were also very nice.

Spending 8 days on Carlos' eco farm in Lulongo was an unforgettable and rewarding experience. Everything was well organized, and I learned a lot about eco farming through hands-on work like planting, harvesting, building, and animal care. I loved contributing to projects like the duck pond and chicken coop. The lush, the home farm and its recycling ideas were inspiring. The family was incredibly warm and welcoming, and I felt at home right away. Delicious meals from farm produce were a highlight. I left with lots of inspiration โ€” highly recommended!

It was a very pleasant experience sharing and learning about Carlos's family life. Everyone was very kind and attentive. I wish I could have stayed longer to help with the rabbit project.

My experience here was nothing but wonderful. I immediately felt welcomed by the family and shared so many great memories. The work I did was very insightful and learned so much. The nature and people here are absolutely amazing. Everyone in the family cared so much for me I couldn't recommend them enough.
