Campo Cari-Lauquen

Malargüe is a surprising destination in the province of Mendoza, perfect for nature and adventure lovers. You can explore the Caves of the Witches 🕯️, with their impressive rock formations, or be enchanted by the Pozo de las Ánimas, two mysterious lagoons nestled in the Andean landscape 🌄. For relaxation, there's nothing better than the warm waters of the Lahuen-Co hot springs 💦, surrounded by mountains. Astronomy enthusiasts can visit the Malargüe Planetarium 🌌, one of the most important in Argentina, and in the evening, enjoy a fine Mendocino wine 🍷.

Hospitality in Malargüe reflects the essence of Andean culture: warmth, simplicity, and a deep pride in local traditions 💛. Locals welcome tourists as part of the family, always willing to share stories of the region and suggest unique tours. In the restaurants, besides the typical Argentine parrillada 🥩🔥, you'll find dishes prepared with regional products and friendly, attentive service. This blend of authenticity, warmth, and generosity ensures that every visitor takes home a special memory of the city 🌟.

This was a great experience! The place is very rural and there is a lot of work to do which is great if you are looking to learn. You can help tame horses, herd cattle and fix stuff around the ranch. Rafa is not the most expressive type but he will do his best so that you are comfortable and will provide ample opportunities for you to try all the different activities to be done. Fede and Carlos are very fun to work with and will teach you what they know even if there is a language barrier. Overall I highly recommend this experience if you like the rural lifestyle.

Rich experience, I took care of the animals (dogs, cats, a calf and horses) and contributed to the kitchen, cleaning and organization. Here I learned how to make fire, I discovered goat leather and I also dedicated myself to handicrafts, and I learned a bit about cattle handling, I worked as a safari driver and had the real opportunity to work with horses. I am grateful to everyone, especially Fred, who encouraged me to seek activities and helped me adapt. What to expect: a wood-fired stove, the place is far from town and life is truly rural, with internet and a well-stocked kitchen. Rafa cares about keeping everything running.

Erika has the right attitude to work in a team and learn new tasks every day.
She knows how to handle horses, dogs, cats, and cows.
It was a pleasure to have her on the team.
