Volunteering at the hostel was my best decision! I thought it was just a stop but I immediately felt at home! The owners are wonderful, super helpful, and became real friends. The hostel is beautiful with an amazing view, and walking distance to the beach and center. What I loved most was the warm atmosphere and meeting unique, special people. I'm so grateful for this opportunity and all the love and bonds I made. Leaving is hard, but I'm leaving with a bag full of memories and special people! If you're looking for a place that makes you feel home, don't hesitate the hostel is the right place!

The hostel is really nice, it has a lot of little details that make it feel cozy. I would only recommend to have a clear list of tasks to be done by every shift. This to avoid confusion and for the new comers to know what is expected of them as they learn about the volunteer position.

Thank you for your feedback regarding our facilities & cozy vibes! However, we regret that your experience with our team didn't go as expected... Unlike the majority of our volunteers who fully embrace our family spirit and dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to hostel life during their 3.5-hour shift, you chose to use those scheduled hours to manage personal digital nomad work, which was neither respectful to the hostel nor fair to the team... Wish you all the best in finding a better match !

Guy and Priscilla, the owners, made me feel like home from the day one, they explained to me the work that I had to do and were also flexible for the shifts. They made me feel super welcomed : you can talk to them, you can laugh with them and for sure you will share a lot of great memories with them.
This experience was life changing: I had time to explore and live the local life, meeting every day new people from different countries, sharing stories and experiences and learning a lot. Shout-out to volunteers and guests, they're all amazing, I'll miss them. Thank you so much Guy and Pris!🫶🏻

My experience at the hostel was incredible, I'm very happy to have been there... To get there you have to climb a hill that can be a bit tiring if you do it on foot, but nothing is impossible, the place is very well located because there are supermarkets nearby, places to eat, dance, the beach without needing a motorcycle (I went everywhere on foot); The hostel is a very pretty, very quiet and pleasant place, with spaces to work, the community is very nice, I met wonderful people there, the owners are wonderful people, very nice and the work is not heavy at all. Thank you very much Pris and Guy

Thanks to you, my dear! She is an incredible volunteer, very sociable and always ready for anything. In addition to that, she has helped us a lot with social networks. We highly recommend her 💯

Breathtaking views? Yes. Amazing facilities? Of course. Interesting people? In abundance. A baby goat called Gustavo who headbutts you to play with you? ...Also yes! the hostel has everything you need to have an amazing experience in Las Terrenas. The owners, Priscilla and Guy, are two of the nicest, chill (unless you keep leaving a big pile of your clothes on the floor... Sorry!), most supportive people I've ever met. They have something very special at the hostel and it was a joy to help them out running the hostel, which felt A LOT more like play than work to be honest! the hostel? Siiii buueno!
