The lodge is such a special place and I truly had the best month with Sha at his the lodge. The work is very easy with the hours as agreed upon. This is a great experience for someone looking to balance a slow daily life by the beach and long social nights partying. The locals are lovely and welcoming and always down for a chat. The accommodation is comfortable with a bed and bathroom, food is very affordable and everything in the town is super accessible, no more than a 5-10 minute walk from everything. Thankyou again Sha! Miss you very much, but I'll be back again for sure. 😽😽

I had a lovely time in the lodge. The work was very easy (just have a drink and chat with the guests) and all the people there were very nice. The room was cute and was private or with 1 other volunteer. Also there are beautifull shells on the beach to find. If you like to learn surfing, drinking, and party this is a great volunteer place! Thanks Sha🫶🏼

I loved the lodge. We spent all day at the beach surfing! The locals and digital nomads are super nice. I enjoyed learning how to make cocktails and learning more about malay culture. Work was very down to earth. Here is what our schedule looked like: Friday & Saturday: 8pm-1am Sunday, Monday & Thursday: 7pm-12am Tuesday & Wednesday: days off

I had a great time volunteering in the lodge. Hours and tasks are as listed. It's a super chill place. On slow days all tasks can be done quickly so the rest of the time we spend playing card games or playing with Shah's adorable son. We had so much fun on the busier days too talking to locals and tourist and being a part of the party. the lodge is a great place for surfing both for beginners and advanced especially in monsoon season. The town has a great and welcoming atmosphere. Remember to bring plenty of cash, since cards aren't accepted most places and the nearest ATM is 10km.

It was amazing, I met such great people and the vibe there is really something ! If you want to search a place very chill while enjoying surfing, parties and good vibes you are at the right spot !! I would recommend it 100% 😜
