Cloghereen

A quiet location on the wild Atlantic way just outside Tralee. View of the Slieve Mish mountains on the distant Dingle peninsula. Ideal for travellers doing the road trip along the West coast. 5 minute drive to nearest pub, 5 mins to shops and Tralee town

We're looking for some help keeping on top of the large garden. Ideally looking for volunteers looking for a short trip in the area. Cutting down brambles and hedges, mulching any garden waste using the garden shredder, removal of waste

We had a very, very positive experience at this exchange. Both Stu and Will are truly welcoming and incredible hosts. The private annex is super well equipped and had everything we could need, including access to bikes/helmets/lights which made getting into town/around the area very easy. Our hosts showed us around the local beaches and pub, which were all lovely! The work hours and tasks were well respected with the flexibility for us to choose our days off. We enjoyed the very friendly chickens, games room with darts/pool/air hockey and fire pit. We loved it so much we extended our stay.

Stuart and Will were absolutely lovely and very accommodating. They fit me in last minute and went above and beyond on making me feel welcome and making sure I was able to see Kerry - they'd even drop and pick me up from the train/bus station after my excursions. Their garden, and the view from it, was lovely and a pleasure to work in.

Stuart was a fantastic host in every way possible! He was so kind, friendly and welcoming and took time to show me the local neighbourhood and sites. My volunteering was helping out in his beautiful garden each day. I highly recommend this volunteering opportunity to anyone visiting Ireland and county Kerry!

Thank you Mick. So sorry I didn't get my review in on time. I thoroughly recommend Mick as a workpacker. Was great to meet you and keep in touch . Stu

I want to sincerely thank Stu and Will, as they were always very kind and nice to me, and welcomed me so warmly! I had the chance to meet several of their friends and I will fondly remember the moments we spent together. I also got to learn more about gardening and painting while helping them, and taking care of the chickens was especially enjoyable. The place where I stayed is super cozy. We also visited some nearby towns, and the scenery is absolutely stunning. I wish you both lots of success!
