Eco Sitio Filhos do Sol
Travelers will have an innovative experience with various sustainability techniques, permaculture, ecogastronomy and relaxation, a true reconnection with nature! In addition, we are 40 minutes away from some of the world's largest metropolises, the city of São Paulo, where our Worldpackers in their spare time will be able to enjoy great sightseeing tours of museums, cultural centers, shopping centers, etc..
We, the hosts, are a couple who believe that relationships go far beyond financial values and that exchanges are the basis for a more humane and sustainable world.

I had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at the project Sítio the project, and my experience was truly memorable. From the first day, I was warmly welcomed with great affection and warmth by Edna and Betto. Two amazing people! Edna has exceptional skills in ecogastronomy. Betto is always willing to share his experiences about beekeeping and permaculture. I can't forget Catarina, another amazing person, in the art of planting. I thank everyone for such a meaningful experience; I am not taking away only learning, but also lasting memories.

The Sítio project gave me a purpose-driven volunteer opportunity. I could contribute with my skills to the development of an audiovisual project to present the site to the world, with total creative freedom, including the paintings made for the cultural corridor. Edna and Betto welcomed me with a lot of affection, as part of the family. I learned a lot from them, especially about permaculture and everything involved, and I loved the vision they have for the site's future!!! I carry with me a lot of learning, inspiration and gratitude. I highly recommend the experience, and Edna's food is delicious ✨🌱

Gratitude, Edna, Betto and Catarina! I lived a true immersion in agroecology and learned lessons that I will carry with me for life. With Betto, I learned about the care and management of bees from honey production, propolis and apicultural products. We carried out three agroforestry beds, from soil preparation, and we also produced bio-disinfectant and biofertilizer. Not to mention the meals prepared by Edna: INCREDIBLE, SENSATIONAL! In addition, I learned to make sourdough bread. I also thank the pets Lobo, Estrela, Pandora and Nicolau. I would recommend this volunteer program to all Worldpackers.

Minha experiência no the project sítio foi simplesmente transformadora. Fui recebida com muito carinho, cuidado e atenção. O espaço em si já é enriquecedor, uma verdadeira escola viva de conexão com a natureza e consigo mesmo. Durante minha estadia, pude aprender, trocar e também deixar um pouco de mim através da minha arte e trabalho. Senti que cada momento teve propósito, e que minha presença foi acolhida de forma genuína. Sou profundamente grata à Edna e ao Betto,não apenas pelo espaço que abriram, mas pela generosidade com que compartilham seus conhecimentos e sua energia. Foi como estar em casa.

O Betto e a Edna são as pessoas mais dotadas de humanidade que já conheci, me senti muito bem acolhida no lar deles, em todos os momentos se preocupam com o bem estar físico e emocional do voluntario. Me ensinaram acima de tudo sobre cuidado, a culinária da Edna é deliciosa e saudável!! Foram dias de muito aprendizado em meio a natureza, com as abelhas, os animais do sítio, a horta, a floresta... eles me transmitiram uma verdadeira chuva de conhecimento, sabedoria e amor fraterno!!!
