English Language Cafe

Hi Worldpackers!!,
This is Dennis,at English language café at the hot center of Seoul, Hongdae area. You can meet many local Koreans during the stay. If you have a good conversation skills,you can make great Korean friends very easily, They could be your travel guide on your days and time off. Since you will meet local Korean residents with different backgrounds, jobs and characters, you will learn what real Korean culture is easily. Moreover, volunteers who will stay with you in the accommodation are also looking for new experiences just like you, so you will have a very high chance of making good friends from all around the world, as you will be spending so much time with them.

All are very kind and reliable persons,we can be very close friends easily. You will make lots of Korean and foreign friends, experience true Korean culture while staying around one of the hottest place, at Hongdae,Seoul, and go to many historical places in Seoul by #2 green line metro, the Hapjeong station is just 5miniutes by walk.

This was my first volunteering experience and I had so much fun living with my roommates and talking with locals every day, the schedule is always very well organised and Dennis is great host that is always open to any request! The Cafe is about a 10 minutes walk from the apartment which make it super easy to reach. Will miss that place so much!

My time in the Café was super good! I stayed for over a month and didn’t want to leave, Dennis is really nice and attentive, he made me feel reassured that everything was fine before arriving in the country, as this was my first time volunteering abroad I had a lot of doubts and felt uneasy about the covid situation but everything went well and he answered to all my questions! Also, I must say I got to meet local people and connect with the culture through them, Thank you Dennis for having me!

First experience using Wordpackers and it coudnt be better! Really nice location and the appartment is 30 seconds from the cafe.
The task is easy and you meet really nice people over there! I have stayed 10 days but i wish i could stay longer.
Dont miss the opportunity to do this exchange, i really recommend it ✌

I really enjoyed my time volunteering at this cafe. The host, Dennis, is so kind. He is accommodating and tries really hard to ensure volunteers have a comfortable stay. The hours are also light and you meet some interesting people working there. It's a really great environment and the people there are open and friendly. I would definitely recommend! :)
