Volunteers love our place who like to take advantage of the free yoga classes, being in nature and an independent work schedule where self motivation is helpful.
In general the volunteers have a lot of autonomy. We provide lodging with a full kitchen for the travelers to use for light work hours. When there are retreats or events we ask a very different dynamic. We hope for full participation when not working and food and lodging are provided. This is a much more communal experience.

We had a wonderful time in the Center! Helena welcomed us so warmly, during the Yoga Retreat we could participate in all the activities, in Exchange we cooked for the participants and helped out with whatever came up. During the time of the retreat the work and the activities mix up, so you are sometimes busy all day - but with all the fun things you get to participate in it's some really amazing days! While there is no Retreat the work is very flexible. We helped painting the Walls and could organize our working time completely on our own.

The experience with Helena has been very positive. She is a very approachable person who makes you feel like one of her own from the very first moment. She makes you want to spend time with her. The place is very welcoming and allows contact with nature that greatly helps with rest. When there are retreats, more time is needed to collaborate, but the weeks without retreats are very light and one can organize the tasks with quite a bit of freedom.
I recommend this volunteering opportunity both for the area and for the kind of dynamics Helena manages to create. I hope to return soon 🤍

Helena has a clear vision of what she wants; she always finds a way to share it and channel it with the volunteers. Her transparency and clarity in communicating the objectives to be achieved are impressive.
On days when there is a retreat, the work pace is energetic, but it is balanced by the company of adorable people and a magical backdrop: from cascades of crystal-clear water to forests and dunes facing the ocean.
On days when there is no retreat, the work pace adapts to the needs and objectives that Helena initially sets with each volunteer.
Highly recommended, I would go back!

I really enjoyed my time at the center; Helena and the other volunteers made me feel at home. I was there at a moment when there was a retreat, so all the tasks were oriented toward that. I would have liked the communication to be clearer regarding the tasks, schedules, obligations, etc. Other than that I have nothing to complain about and I recommend this volunteering for anyone seeking a place of tranquility and with gorgeous places nearby!
