Finca E.D.E.N.

What kind of host are you?

My boyfriend and I have been restoring everything you will be able to see for two years. (Fence, path, ponds, walls, corral, orchard… ) We love inventing things, and more, for the beautiful results we achieve.
As you can see, we are capable of anything.
But volunteering is more about making friends and spreading this seed of change to those who wish to embark on this path toward freedom and to those who want to stay a long time.

Our project is unique and special, because we have already achieved 80%. We combine immersive natural living, with respect and care for the mountain that welcomes us, but with all the comforts and luxuries you'll see…

The tasks are feeding the animals, cooking, cleaning and picking fruits. All very peaceful and with plenty of free time to rest and enjoy nature.

We are kind, transparent and fun.
Engaged in long, interesting conversations.

We are changing things!
We want to share the experience of self-sufficiency and immersion in nature that we are achieving.

A place to disconnect and reconnect with Mother Nature!
Both to learn and to enjoy it. Connect, vibe and good energy.

Immersed in nature to return to the origins, but with all the comforts, services and luxuries:
- Jacuzzi
- Container pool
- Self-sufficiency garden
- High-speed satellite Internet at 2 GHz
- Hosts available almost 24 hours a day
- Solar installation. Free energy
- Warmth from electric blanket
- Mineral water from a village spring

Literally confirmed my stay and then asked me if I could change to October. Even though I specified that I am leaving before the end of August. That’s a whole two month gap. How would I be able to move my dates to fit her timing. She didn’t even explain what came up. She just said something came up and that was the end of that. Obviously I’m not gonna go two hours away from where I’m initially staying to risk somebody keeping their word. It was such a frustrating experience. I don’t really recommend people going here because she doesn’t communicate clearly, and it’s pretty unrealistic..

TERESA replied

This was so brief that you can't get frustrated by a last-minute, rushed reservation.
You write to us on 29/7
(Already to come in two days, on the 31st)
On 30/7 you tell us:
If not, it's fine,

The reason?:
You don't have any experience that would tell us who is coming to our place.
You say you don't recommend that people come to our place???? But you haven't been there!
Well, I hope you gain some experience someday.

Mi experiencia en Finca Eden ha sido maravillosa. Es un lugar hermoso, y tanto Raúl como Teresa me han hecho sentir muy cómoda. La vida en consonancia con la naturaleza, eso fue lo mejor que traje en mi espíritu.

Hi everyone! My time in Finca Edén was incredible! Raul and Teresa are the best hosts ever. They are started now to open your property to volunteers, so was just me and them working. It was amazing, I had gardens to care, clean the house, making lunch and whatever had to do, if I could I did. I did many walks in the nature, up the mountain. We had many interesting conversations about the life. The time I was there, was introspective and fun, a great therapy for me. They let me free to do the tasks and bring me to the town when I needed it. So, my experience was incredible there!
