Come discover cheese making and tasting. At the cheese factory there is a lot of work, know-how, and the team likes to share.
At home: a good atmosphere among friends, musicians (I play the flute with a guitarist and an accordionist).
With my friend Jean-Charles, we like to host, and we are often invited to our friends' homes. LGBT-friendly, of course.
We enjoy hosting interns or volunteers, and sharing our know-how. The team of 12 employees is friendly and works in a good mood.

Three intense and unforgettable weeks. Jean-Luc, the host, deserves a chapter of his own. A special person, simple and, at the same time, sophisticated, cultured and with a strong ecological conscience. Demanding and professional, he leads his team with excellence, without losing respect and kindness toward everyone. His generosity left a mark on me. He opened the doors of his world to me: soirées with friends, concerts, long conversations, hearty meals. Always in a good mood, perceptive, curious, patient, sensitive and intelligent. I had an amazing experience! Jean-Luc is a wonderful person who makes you feel included. We drank good wines, tasted excellent cheeses and had many chats and special moments.
I also had the opportunity to leave my mark on the new cheese factory he is building. I loved being able to help, contribute and be part of this very special experience.
I definitely need to come back, because my legacy isn't finished yet! 😂🧀🍷

Definitely, there isn't any time for boredom at Jean's! He is a super kind-hearted/open host, and his team is very easy-going too. There'll be a bunch of soirées where you can connect with the local community (they're super nice :D), and all his friends are lovely and enjoyable. Anyone who stays there will get to enjoy exquisite flavors through the food and drinks. In the end, all the descriptions of the opportunity match the place perfectly. Recommendations for future volunteers: speak at least A2-level French and... don't ever leave the place without trying Jean's pear pie, if available 🤭

Jean- Luc, a good and respectful person, always very attentive and ensuring that your time here is productive and innovative.
He took me to visit castles and introduced me to many friends and family.
A region that is very good to live in, and simple, with calm and kind people, very different from the capital.
The work is very calm, and if you don't speak French like me, you will probably end up cleaning more, because there is no way to teach the factory tasks, since few employees speak English.
I can only thank you for the time here and apologize for my mistakes.

I spent five wonderful weeks with Jean-Luc at the farm. I originally planned to stay for four weeks, but I enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay. Jean-Luc is sincere, generous and caring. I learned a lot about traditional French cheese-making, local culture, and the naturist way of life. The food was always fresh and delicious, and I also had time to visit beautiful châteaux nearby. Basic French and a driving licence would be very helpful for the work. Thank you, Jean-Luc. I'm looking forward to seeing you again later this year!
