Fundación Carmela Fassi
If you are a person interested in contributing through small actions to improve the planet and you are looking for volunteering opportunities to collaborate with people who live in extreme social vulnerability and to leave a real and positive experience, we invite you to become part of our project.
We are a legal, serious and responsible foundation, fully committed to the community and to our collaborators.
We are a team of professionals, volunteers and friends who since 2000 have been working to improve the quality of life for people who live in extreme social vulnerability. We have different workshops that take place daily and volunteers have the opportunity to be part of them. Not only to collaborate with basic activities of cleaning, maintenance and meals, but also to be part of real change and reduce the inequalities that arise by accompanying our young people in their daily activities.
Volunteers are treated with respect, understanding and, above all, with love. Likewise, they receive all the necessary amenities.
Please note that on December 15 the summer holidays begin and students return at the beginning of March. If you come in those dates you will not have the experience of sharing with them.

A truly special organization that exceeded all my expectations, with one main purpose: helping others. Working with wonderful people and volunteering with children who make every moment spent with them amazing. Martín and the rest of the team took care of me from the very first moment I arrived, making sure I had everything I needed, from the basics to so much more. The place truly feels like home. There is always such a positive atmosphere, thanks to everyone who works there. If you're looking to experience the local culture, volunteer, and improve your Spanish, this is the place to be!

My experience with the project was very nice. Above all, I really enjoyed spending time with the adults in the morning, especially Romi, the physical education teacher. The atmosphere at the project is very sociable, and I like cooking and having dinner with the volunteers every night. Martín is also very kind, and Ale is always there to answer the questions.

I unfortunately wasn't able to stay for the complete 2 weeks they have as the minimum time due to responsibilities back at home. But, for the week I was able to contribute I got to see the surface of what this organization is all about and the community in which they impact. To be transparent, if you are looking to culturally immerse yourself in the community both inside and outside its walls, as well as those you work alongside with, this place offers it to take. The more intentional you are with your time and honest about what you want to take away, the more you'll take home. Stay curious<3

We spent almost three weeks at the project and were able to see the strong positive impact it provides to the population it accompanies. It was a gift to be able to collaborate in the classroom with the adolescents and participate in events as important and cultural as the Pachamama celebration. Truly all the professionals who work at the project are involved in accompanying the people. There is a wonderful and proactive atmosphere. We were also able to connect with the volunteers and it was a beautiful exchange and sharing experience. Many thanks to Martín and Caro for making it possible.🤍
