Granja Livingston

Because you can learn in a practical way about self-sufficiency and local food production, connecting with real and simple processes, far from the fast pace of city life.
We are located in a magical place in the Chilean Patagonia, surrounded by nature, quiet, clean air and landscapes that invite you to slow down, observe and reconnect. We deeply believe in cultural exchange, in mutual learning and in creating an environment of respect, collaboration and good energy.

We are a small, close-knit team, with a family-like and respectful atmosphere. Volunteers will be treated with good communication, care, and consideration, becoming an active part of the project.
The workday is from 8:00 to 12:00, with tasks distributed according to the day's needs, such as caring for chickens, working the land and harvesting food, repair and maintenance of fences.

We value mutual learning, good disposition and teamwork, in a natural and tranquil environment.

All I have to do is thank you for the time I spent with Duncan. For me, it was a moment of introspection, as I was alone most of the time, but I never lacked anything. The volunteers' house is very, very comfortable. I had freedom to carry out the activities and, whenever I needed it, Duncan was flexible with the shifts, whether changing the days off or allowing me to adjust the schedules. Without a doubt, I will be back very soon.

I can only thank you for Thiago's work, a very cheerful person with a very good disposition; without a doubt he was a great help for our farm, and I would recommend his work to any host.

We had a really nice time at the farm of Duncan and his family. They're really friendly and kind and it was so nice to get to know them! Duncan is also very flexible with work hours. The accommodation was a cabin for three people with one room with a double bed which was very cozy and one room with a single bed. The property has pretty views and the dogs and cats are incredible sweet! We did different tasks like berry picking, repairing fences and cleaning the chicken coops. Overall we had a really nice time there. Thank you, Duncan :)

I had a peaceful and enjoyable time at granja Livingston. Duncan, the host, and Rocio, his sister, are so kind and hospitable. The house for volunteers is SO wonderful with a perfect kitchen, hot shower, cozy furnace, and comfy beds. The scenery is stunning especially in the mornings. The work is a lot of berry picking, weeding, and repairing various gates and fences. There are two dogs and cats who kept us company while we worked and are so precious. My experience was awesome mostly because of my fellow volunteers, but I would feel lonely without them. Perfect!
