I loved it, an extraordinary experience connecting with nature. Maximiliano (the host) is very attentive, takes care of all the details and is very generous, he makes you feel at home, the truth is it makes you want to come back again and again.

Max is an incredibly kind and dedicated host. I loved my time on the farm - especially getting to hang out with the donkey, Lola, and trying tons of fresh fruits. The farm is not too far from Las Terrenas which also has beautiful nature and exciting nightlife. Max took me to see many cool sites in the area and made sure I had everything for an enjoyable volunteer experience.

This site made my first DR visit a memorable journey. Max is a remarkable, attentive host. Beyond being a farmer & carpenter, he's a gifted singer with the potential to be a celebrity! His approach is organized; he assigns tasks that perfectly match a volunteer's abilities. I'm proud of revitalizing the accommodations, planting Aloe & Snake plants, & managing large painting projects with precision. This hilly location next to vast scenery, offers a rare rural-urban blend with shops nearby. I loved hiking & feeding Lola the donkey. I left with a new friend. I hope to return & contribute again!

My stay was a wonderful experience; his host Don Maximiliano is an empathetic person, always attentive and respectful. From the start he provided clear instructions and maintained excellent communication, which made me feel comfortable and safe. I had the opportunity to take part in an excursion to Saona Island with other travelers and experience unforgettable moments. It is a tranquil experience, surrounded by nature and a welcoming atmosphere; it is like a breath for the soul. No doubt it was a positive experience that I would recommend.
