I live in a beautiful part of France. It is very rural but there are some great towns 15km away. I have a large, peaceful garden where there is so much to learn, if you want to. Although, not in full production, I love growing my own food and cooking it. Low light pollution means that laying in the field star gazing, is a joy and the walks here, from my doorstep, are just stunning. There are many festivals here in the summer that are truly magical and you may wake up to see golden orioles and hoopoes in the woods, from your window.
I have a vast knowledge of gardening and cooking and I would very much love to share that. I have been in France for many years, so your stay here should be safe. I am quite flexible, with regards to the work here but I would really appreciate your help. It has been a struggle to get what is needed done and my home has so much to potential. I am very easy going and calm and although I am here to accommodate and support you, I really appreciate that this is also your vacation. I have a car and I can take you to local beauty spots, on your days off. As you can see, I am very new here but I am a very fast learner and I promise to look after you very well.

It was such a great experience with Jane. The work hours were very chill and the tasks were not too hard. The area is beautiful and her little house is adorable.
The best part of the stay was getting to know and laugh with Jane. She has such a funny sense of humour and she is great to hang around.
I loved all her animals (especially Karen the duck) and the food was great

Jane is a wonderful, sweet person with a great sense of humor. She made us feel right at home, and we had a lot of fun together. It was a fantastic cooperation - tasks she offered us were varied and interesting, according to our skills and what the weather allowed us to do ;)
Jane is also very knowledgeable with plants and a really good cook, so it was a perfect opportunity to learn.
We hope to come visit Jane once again in the future.

Jane opened up her lovely home to us and made us feel welcomed and appreciated right from the start. Her openess, humor and kindness made us feel right at home! The tasks varied from day to day and we had a lot of fun with Jane so I never really felt like work at all. Food was amazing! I really hope we will have the opportunity to come back there some day!

Staying with Jane was fantastic. She and her family next door were very kind, welcoming and accommodating . The area around is beautiful and Jane has a great garden as well. The food was awesome.

Jane is a very welcoming and kind. She made it very easy to feel comfortable and I enjoyed getting to know her. She is also a wonderful cook and I loved all the different meals she made me. I had a fantastic time getting to experience the French countryside and that lifestyle. The tasks were very fulfilling and they gave a sense of accomplishment once completed.
