We have been in the Hostel business for some time now and just opened our new location in the heart of Tirana. We understand the needs of a volunteer and we like it to be a fantastic journey working with us.

I had a great time at this hostel and met some amazing volunteers and travellers. I believe the communication with staff could’ve been a little better as I did not get the time off I was expecting but I understood with unforeseen circumstances there was need to adapt. Claas was helpful and only a phone call away. The hostel had a very cosy vibe and you would feel at home very quickly.

Genuinely if you are a woman don't come here. He puts you in the hottest part of the hostel with na/c and fans that barely work. The volunteer room itself is more of a storage closet with a bunch of random stuff in it. The hostel has no paid employees. It's ran by the volunteers, he assigns task that has nothing to do with cleaning like making sure the water is running and managing the circuit breaker when the power shorts out. He only has the women cleaning, and if the males don't show up for a shift he pushes it onto everyone else Instead of being a manager and handling it. It's terrible

Hey...thank you for this funny review. We already wrote to worldpackers about it. Theses are basically just lies from someone who thinks volunteering is a cheap way of making a holiday without paying for the stay! Everyone does the same work (males, females and everyone in between 🌈) We have a paid staff member. The volunteer room is not a storage room, it's one of the biggest rooms in the house. The fans are working (the standing ones as well as the wall mounted one)please don't lie,not nice🥱

The experience at the hostel was OK. It met what was agreed, although I think the atmosphere and the work vibe could be much improved. I felt that everyone was going their own way and there wasn't an integration among the volunteers. I also think the tasks in the morning shift were a bit heavy to be carried out by just one person. Since there are about 30 beds, 4 bathrooms, and common areas that you have to clean, the hostel is sustained entirely by volunteers; I think it's good to have some dedicated cleaning staff, as it remains a business.

I had a great experience in this hostel, I would definitely recommend it! You will meet a lots of amazing travellers, make great memories and improve your English.
The working hours are clearly set, 3 days off are amazing and enough…
Claas is really cool guy, always positive, always helpful… everything was well organised. :)

It is a nice place to share with people from different countries, both the volunteers and the guests were very friendly, which allowed me to have excellent conversations and share very pleasant moments, the host is very flexible with the schedules and the days off were enough to see more places around the hostel
