HOSTEL AUSTRAL
Our volunteer program offers a warm environment, good meals, spacious spaces, pets, a gym, a 15-minute walk from the town center, near places for trekking, we offer Magallanes-style barbecue, and excursions to green areas in the area.
Our team is made up of three people: Carlitos, 16 years old, Franco, 24, and Carlos, 45. We run a catering and coffee-break services company, so there are always tasty things to eat. We love travel and adventure; we all speak a little English. We have three dogs that are very affectionate. Our house is spacious.

João and I had an incredible experience! Carlos is a 10/10 host, always concerned that the volunteer feels comfortable and well received. We met his family and friends, all very kind, and also Frea, Linda and Thorzinho, his dogs, very special. The work is easy and well organized. I helped in the breakfast business and learned to make alfajores, which was very enriching, while João participated in the hostel renovation. Living the day-to-day life of a local was also very enriching, and we hope to be able to return. Carlos was one of our best experiences on Worldpackers!

This is my first volunteering experience, and Carlos and his family made me feel very welcome and at home. The tasks were easy, explained in a very pleasant way. Unfortunately, during my stay the weather did not cooperate to allow me to do many outdoor activities, but the conversations with Carlos were excellent. It was, without a doubt, a great experience; I would definitely come back.
