This was a perfect experience, highly recommended! They welcomed me with a lot of affection and respect. There was very good communication and beautiful moments with a lot of trust. The work was respected as agreed, and when I needed to change hours due to work, they gave me the opportunity. The hostel is beautiful and comfortable, the food is very good. I really enjoyed living near the nature reserve and the hostel beach. The owners of the hostel and the manager are very warm and good people who accompanied us and helped us a lot, even when we were sick. I learned, I had fun and I felt at home.

Simple, clear, and well-organized tasks.
Quiet neighborhood.
It's far from the beach, but the walk is worth it.
Sandy is a wonderful, dedicated, and attentive person.
I got intoxicated, like an Argentine in the hostel; she took me to the ER and helped me with everything.
I carry the team of volunteers in my heart, just like the hostel, where you feel at home.
It was the first time in my entire backpacking trip that I unpacked my backpack and put everything in the lockers.

Hostel Moçambique began as an exchange of Worldpackers. Over time, it also developed as an experience of loving and respectful social interaction, with mutual commitment to the obligations within the hostel. Denis is an excellent manager, empathetic and aware of the values of volunteering: a top-notch guy. Sandy and André, the owners, are very kind people. I would like to emphasize Sandy, who was the one I had the most dialogue and contact with of the two: a wonderful woman, super respectful and empathetic. Everything agreed upon has been fulfilled. This will be for me a home in my heart, forever. Gratitude

My first volunteering experience and I have only words of gratitude. I felt very comfortable from the first day. Denis, Sandy and Andrés are excellent people who are very willing to meet the team's needs. I was very happy here, although it is quieter than other areas, but it helped me start my new life in Brazil calmly. There was always respect and communication, and I carry them in my heart at every moment and with every person I met! I haven't left yet and I already want to come back! Thank you, family 🫶
