Hostel Oceanic
We are in a great location, our spaces are cozy, we have space for a home office and for studying, we welcome people from all over and it's great to make new friends. Our hostel is a very cheerful place with good vibes. We have been operating since 2014.
Our team is basically made up of family, between brothers and brothers-in-law. All our volunteers are well received, they are treated with a lot of respect. We have a room available only for volunteers, so they feel more comfortable and safe.

It was a pleasant experience, but a very tense environment in terms of camaraderie! The only thing missing was communication from the host, since I had days to leave and I didn't know.

My experience at the the hostel was great, I leave with friends for life. The hostel has a pleasant atmosphere, the hosts are a family of Argentinians and Brazilians very receptive and charismatic. The tasks and schedules are informed to us weekly and it is possible to request adaptations. The hostel is very well located in the center of BC, giving quick access to both the beach as well as shops and the supermarket. The city is very beautiful and the ease of mobility helps a lot. There is lodging for volunteers, some bunk beds are quite low but you may sleep in the upper bed.

It was really great!!! Honestly, the place is super clean, beautiful, and above all safe!!! Both the volunteers and guests respect others' belongings, and nothing has ever disappeared. The owners not only prioritize comfort but also safety and provide total comfort for those who are there. I highly recommend it 100%.

I want to start by thanking everyone; the hostel owners are a large, very close-knit and friendly family who, with great responsibility and dedication, strive to make their space and management the best possible! They make you feel very comfortable and at ease.
My days were very calm, the working hours scheduled, perfectly respected, and when I asked to adjust a date they agreed without drama. The breakfast is very good; it's a great way to start the day with some coffee and tasty food. I leave with fond memories, some friends, and a wonderful experience! THANK YOU the hostel 💙
