Onefam Ribeira by Hostel One
We like to say that we don't sell just a bed, we sell an entire experience, and you will help us keep this tradition for our future guests. If you feel like having an amazing experience do not hesitate to apply for a vacancy. We are a chain so if you apply to us you might be able to be a volunteer in other countries as well.
The worldpakers will have a big room with a mezzanine, bathroom and a kitchen shared with the other volunteers. On each floor, we can accommodate four people. At the end of your stay you can travel to another Onefam location and keep your volunteer experience.

My stay at the Onefam Ribeira was amazing!! The location of the hostel is perfect and the kitchen, common areas etc. are always clean and organized. The working hours were very well respected and the staff was super nice and helpful with any questions or problems. The volunteer team was great and it felt like a family :)

This was literally the best month of my life. The hostel is absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location. The work doesn’t even feel like work most of the time and the manager Mel is such a kind and caring person. In the hostel I met the coolest guest and became really close friends with the volunteers. It definitely felt like having a family there. I would definitely want to come back at one point.

Oh my, I cannot describe in words how much LOVE I have for this place. The hostel is clean, super well located, has nice common areas, etc. but what REALLY makes the difference is the people. Everyone is so loving, caring, social and fun. From manager (love you Mel🩷), to all the other staff (receptionists, fellow volunteers, cleaning staff), to hostel guests. I felt home so soon and it was incredibly hard to leave.
Thanks for amazing parties, great hugs & conversations, and all the friends I made!🥰
My advice to you: stop overthinking and move your ass to Onefam Porto, you won’t regret it!!🥳

This was the most amazing experience ever!! I have loved every single second of my stay at onefam. I met a ton of AMAZING people, both staff and guests, and we really became a little family. Melanie is an amazing manager and very good at communicating the tasks. She is super helpful if you need anything. The location of the hostel is amazing and everything is like a 10-15 min walk away. The work is pretty easy and I did 3-4 shifts a week. If you are a social person you will absolutely LOOOVE this hostel and city!!! Would recommend a thousand times over

This was my first volunteering experience and also my first time staying in a hostel and I couldn't be happier with my stay. The staff members and other volunteers were all very friendly and welcoming, and because of how social the hostel was it was super easy to make friends and get to know the guests. The work was very easy and let you have bunch of free time every week. I would recommend this hostel if you love to party and socialize :)!
