The volunteer experience was great. The tasks were calm. The people at the hotel are wonderful, starting with Fran, who gave me all the support and made the work more fun. He was a great friend, a very kind person. Yesenia is also a very adorable and supportive person, she helped me a lot and was always available. It was really enjoyable to volunteer at this hotel. I highly recommend!!!!

Súper feliz de haber logrado mi primer experiencia como voluntaria en este hotel; desde que llegué me sentí muy bien recibida y con la disposición de explicarme las tareas que realizaría y los horarios que tendría. Estela una excelente anfitriona pendiente de todo, muy amable su trato haciendo que la estadía fuera muy grata. El equipo de trabajo Karen, Jonathan y Sofía, muy serviciales y con una actitud muy empatica para asignar las tareas que hacer. Karen muy linda explicando parte de la cultura local y sugiriendo lugares turísticos que visitar que me ayudarán a explorar más la ciudad.

Quiero agradecer inmensamente a Jonathan y Yanci que se portaron superbién y me ayudaron en muchísimas cosas con mi estadía. A la dueña del hostal, me hubiese gustado conocer un poquito más. Y pues hablando del voluntariado siento que sí se gana el desayuno por las actividades que se realizan. Y mención honorífica a la cama individual que no es litera. :)

Lo NEGATIVO, proveniente de la jefa de mi "jefe directo": no respetó mis días de descanso acordados inicialmente, no me permitió recuperar las horas extra que invertí en cocinar los platillos para un evento y, además, me exigió trabajar más horas de las pactadas inicialmente, aclarando que si no aceptaba debía retirarme del hotel. Lo POSITIVO, Mi "jefe directo" (turno de día) y el personal de limpieza son personas sumamente agradables. El trabajo se hace en equipo y la carga se reparte. Propuse una actividad y resultó en una noche mexicana, con comida para 20 invitados.

My role was basically cleaning. Sometimes I felt like it was a little heavy. The place is more of a hotel, there are almost no guests in the shared rooms. The facilities are kind of very old. But, the location was excellent very close to everything you need. The boys who work there are very good people. Thank you
