We make our guest house available to volonteers (see photos, just missing a single bedroom photo), we are just next house where we have lunch and diner together. The guest house has a terrace with a beautiful view on the valley, and there is a large prívate living room.
Several spots with long chairs or hamacs (in the summer time).
From the village buses to go for a day trip around the island.
Thierry is a good chef , he loves cooking ! And our 5 dogs love the contact with the volonteers, they love walks and hugs :) Yes better if your love dogs.
Often volonteers want to come back home , and we had people coming back the next summer , several ones came twice in the same season .
The house is confortable , the food is appreciated , the garden is spacious . Most of the hours of work are in the morning , but if we are not home to care the dogs, then we appreciate to have always a person with them on the property. The dogs have a daily walk in the neighbourhood country side, we hope you love dogs!

Very beautiful place, the lodging is comfortable with honest, respectful hosts who genuinely love animals. The table is excellent, worthy of ***. ATTENTION: if you don't like the company of animals (five small fur balls), this experience is not for you.

Adorable time with the little dogs, a very peaceful space to enjoy nature. The house is a place with many years of history, and Muriel and Thierry are very kind and understanding. The kitchen with Thierry is very fun and satisfying; they have a wonderful home and very interesting friends and family. The house is away from the places usually frequented, but with a bit of walking and planning you can connect with these cities and towns.

I had an amazing experience and spent some truly happy days in the home. Thierry and Muriel are a super cool couple who taught me so much about living a meaningful life. Sharing these days with them was deeply inspiring. The food was a major highlight. They are both fantastic chefs, each with their own specialties, and they truly enjoy sharing that passion with us by serving incredible meals. Mealtime was always a wonderful moment for great conversations and connecting. The working hours were respected, and the tasks were exactly as described. If you ever get the chance, don't miss out!

My first experience at the house with WP was simply perfect: Thierry and Muriel are incredible people, very approachable and with a great energy; they have really earned a place in my heart; everything went exactly as agreed regarding tasks and schedules, which made the experience very smooth and fair; the food is TOP. and in addition the 5 puppies are adorable.—THANKS FOR EVERYTHING, it has been unforgettable and without a doubt I will return to Can Rutetas! ❤️
