La Chimbilaquera

My place is for people who want to get to know themselves, in a foreign environment, different but with a minimum of control. Especially if you want to interact with nature in a place as intense as the biogeographic Chocó, one of the most biodiverse regions in the world.
It's a healthy place, in my view comfortable, but not luxurious. It's the basics you need to be comfortable.

I am an active and very creative person, to the point that often it helps me to have someone who helps me get things done rather than just thinking about them.
Communication is central to me. On my part I offer my empathy and understanding of the other person's situation. My volunteers can rest assured that they will not be judged for the questions they ask. The important thing is that what they don't know, they ask.
My approach to work is functional and pragmatic: if it works, it serves. If not, no. I don't feel bound to ideologies or preconceived philosophies about how things should be.
I am emphatic about commitments, but I also wish that the volunteer explores, discovers and enjoys the cultural and natural surroundings. Once the work is done, I am happy to share my knowledge of the area so that the volunteer can enjoy it.
