la collina che respira

This is a unique opportunity to live deeply connected to nature, away from noise and rush. You’ll experience a peaceful environment, contribute to a meaningful spiritual space, and enjoy a slower rhythm that supports inner balance, reflection, and genuine connection.

This is a heart-centered project based on trust, simplicity, and mutual respect. You'll be welcomed with care, listened to, and treated as part of the space rather than as a helper. We value open communication, shared meals, and creating a safe, supportive atmosphere for everyone involved.

I had such a great time here! I felt very welcome from the start and really enjoyed my stay. I came with my van and lived in it during my time here, which worked out really well. We had lots of interesting conversations and I really enjoyed helping out in the vegetable garden and with cooking. We also did some amazing trips together, which made the whole experience even more special. I'm really happy I got to spend some time here and would definitely recommend it! 😊

The experience was negative due to difficulties in communication with the center, the center generated growing tension culminating in a tense confrontation. The intense work was precarious (wasp stings), never validated and there was no listening but rather denial once the issues were exposed. The host often repeated that the center is not a vacation and you must work, certainly true, but it should not even be understood as underpaid work (the meals were not balanced with the work) because one risks misreading the founding values of sharing, listening, and communication on which the Worldpackers platform is based.

The worst experience of my life. I didn't end up volunteering. On arrival, I found out that the place was isolated and difficult to access. In the interview, the host and his wife said there would be other people there, but I only found him. The cabin had neither water nor electricity and the door wouldn't lock. He said that we do not have access to the house. As soon as I arrived, he started asking questions about my intimate life, which made me uncomfortable. I had a severe anxiety attack and felt fear. Other volunteers reported similar situations. Be careful.

This is the message you sent me when you left." "Hello. I would like to apologize for leaving without saying goodbye.
Unfortunately, my anxiety got the better of me.
I know that wasn't the best way to act and I recognize that I should have talked to you before leaving.
I apologize if I seemed rude or ungrateful. This has never been my intention. I thank you for the opportunity and for your understanding. I truly wish you all the best for your projects and for the t"

The place is very nice, unfortunately we did not feel completely at ease. There is no flexibility; only what the host deems sufficient is given, you cannot make further requests. In my opinion, this prerogative undermines the serenity of the working and convivial environment. The work has not been adapted to our needs, and in a very short time a tension arose between the volunteers and the host, which is why we ended our experience early.

My experience with this volunteer program was disappointing. The host's treatment was disrespectful and, on several occasions, intimidating. Communication was very difficult, which led to constant misunderstandings that he handled in an unprofessional manner. Additionally, the lodging conditions were not what I expected and our stay ended before the agreed date, leaving us without lodging and forcing us to incur unforeseen expenses. Unfortunately, given everything we experienced, I cannot recommend this place to future volunteers.

Hosting Juan and Valentina was an experience that made me wary of the people I shared my space with. I never expected them to contact all the volunteers who came to me, defaming them and trying to influence them. They also wrote lies, changed the dates, showed up a day late, and didn't follow the rules written on both worldpackers and in the volunteers' area, as well as verbally described, violating privacy and taking personal actions they knew they weren't allowed to do. This undermined my trus
