Locomotive Light Hostel

Locomotive Light Hostel is a quiet, small hostel in the center of Budapest, very close to Keleti Pu. international train station. To care about four rooms and 10 - 14 guests is not a hard work. If you like to meet people, sometimes to go out with the guests but you have to study or you have hobby and some time needs for it, this place is the optimal place for you.

We have a small team, we are helpful and flexibile, we treat normal people on normal way, sometimes better. You can manage your job easy, but sometimes we leave you alone, this means some kind of responsibility. Al of the possible questions or problems we try to solve peacefully and flexible. We wait the same from you.

When I arrived I was a little shocked.
The place was really dirty from the first look of it, especially the kitchen and shower (mold, sticky kitchen surfaces and floors,..)
The room i stayed in was also not clean, it was really dusty and the floor had probably not been sweeped or moped in a while.
I met two lovely people there and that made the experience enjoyable (I ended up leaving after a week)
The hours themself were really easy, just cleaning. I was told an hour a day should suffice, but because it was so dirty i ended up doing more just to feel a bit more comfortable.

She arrived but she didn't do a lot for us, she stayed around seven nights and left our place. The guests told us, she doesn't wish to help us because of the kitchen is always full with unwashed dishes, unfortunately nobody wants to clean the dishes after cooking. It is a real problem there. She told them, the bathroom is also dirty and she does not wish to help in the cleaning. Anyway, we did not tell her anything or bad, she stayed here a week as a guest, just for free even she didn't like the hostel. She knows, why. For us it was not a problem, we had half house, she could stay longer but she left.

I really have nothing to write about you. I haven't seen you work. We had planned for a longer time that you would help us here at the hostel, but unfortunately you got into an irresolvable conflict with the receptionist, whose style unfortunately really needs to be improved, but since you didn't dare or didn't want to criticize the receptionist personally at that moment, you took the easy way out and criticized the hostel itself, but already from a safe distance. You had all my contact information, yet you didn't indicate that you had a problem, instead you ran away from the hostel without saying a word. For me, this is a sign of unreliability, so I cannot recommend you to others as a colleague. I'm sorry that we couldn't meet in person due to my stay in the hospital. We might have found a solution.

Was a cool time in the hostel, the tasks were clarier after the first days. In general was a good time in the hostel and you have a lot of time to enjoy the city.

Buena experiencia!

It's a very small and cozy hostel, maybe a bit noisy from the traffic but it's in a great location. The work is really light and I met some interesting people. The city is beautiful, I really enjoyed my stay.
