Mama Blanca Glamping/Posada

There are many beautiful places in the world, but few have magic; this small space offers you peace and tranquility, contact with nature, where in addition to contributing with your knowledge and skills, you can reconnect with yourself and see the world in a different way.

I am a passionate dreamer, with the same confidence as you, because not everyone dares to give and receive and I am here, starting with this project that with your help will become a beautiful reality. The volunteers who have the honor of choosing my venture to share their knowledge and skills will be my family and therefore will be treated as such, as my family. I am eager to welcome you, meet you and work together.

We are located in the MUYUQUIRI community, 25 km from the town of CAMARGO, a picturesque little town amid red mountains, nationally and internationally known for producing the highest wines in the world. Only 20 minutes separate us from those beautiful landscapes where you can explore them in your free time and share with its warm people, centuries-old vineyards and wineries, they are part of its attraction, in addition to the beautiful landscapes that surround us; you will not have time for boredom. I invite you to share this experience and if adventure is your thing, you have already found your place. I look forward to welcoming you. (to clarify that in general the climate is cool; from May to August it is much colder; the other months have good weather; from December to February are the rainiest days).

My experience volunteering at the camping site was excellent. The staff is made up of incredible, kind people who are always willing to help. Don Marco, the person in charge, was always willing to listen and even took care to ensure my lunch finished well. The tasks are simple and the established schedule is always respected. Camargo is a magical, quiet town with incredible landscapes. The most striking thing was its beautiful colorful mountains. I would highly recommend volunteering at the camping site; it was a unique experience.

The Hostel the camping is a beautiful place. It is very quiet and you can take wonderful walks. The work is good (especially we help with the peach harvest, which I loved). Also, there are two charming cats. The Hostel the camping is a beautiful place. It is very quiet and you can take wonderful walks. Volunteering at Mamá Blanca was a great experience ✨, the inn in Muyuquiri is an immersion in an environment where nature/biodiversity prevails. It is very entertaining to explore the fields, mountains ⛰️ and the river 🏞️. Likewise, visiting Camargo (hostel Mamá Blanca) allows getting to know the dynamics of a Bolivian rural community and the geological formations that surround it.
The activities were calm in an outdoor setting predominantly focused on peach processing for the season 🍑 and we enjoyed the interaction with Herikha, Maxsima, the volunteers and with the gatitus 🫰🐱.

We are very grateful for our experience. We shared interesting conversations, good meals with Herikha. She is a friendly, curious, and open person. We painted signs to make the garden look nice (which was already very pretty). We would go into the river every day; it is a five-minute walk away. The surrounding nature is wonderful, there is a lot to explore, pools and a waterfall. It is the perfect place for someone who wants to connect with nature and with themselves.

Mama the camping is a very quiet and welcoming place. Marco greeted us with a lot of affection and always was attentive to our needs. My husband and I took photos and videos of the hostel and of the excursions we did to bodegas and to the hill. I also stayed at the reception twice, something that is very simple and, likewise, I could edit videos and photos while I was there. We received a private room with a bathroom, breakfast and lunch. The other meals we made in the hostel's kitchen. Camargo is a small town with very friendly people. Highly recommended to learn more about Bolivia!
